Porting apps from Google Play to Amazon Appstore just got easier.
We’ve introduced guided workflows to help streamline the process for making your Android apps compatible with Fire OS. By answering a few questions about your app features, you’ll receive customized guidance to simplify your porting efforts.
Start by selecting one of the three workflows for popular SDKs:
- Google messaging to Amazon messaging
- Google Play Billing Library to Amazon In-App Purchasing

Upon completing the questionnaire, you’ll receive a compatibility report with items ranging from Compatible, Partially Compatible, and Currently Incompatible. Under each compatibility tab, you’ll find specific details and technical guidance for how to port your app, including code samples, Appstore-specific solutions, and/or required configuration changes.
