Music Validation Tool Overview
Amazon requires certification for devices implementing Alexa Music before publicly launching that device. Alexa Music certification ensures that the device adequately supports Music Service Providers (MSPs) such as Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, and SiriusXM. To help automate Music Certification testing, Amazon offers a Music Validation Tool (MVT).

Learn about what the Music Validation Tool (MVT) is and how it can help expedite the certification process for AVS-enabled devices that support music as a feature.
Note that the MVT only partially covers the required self-testing for Alexa Music certification. See the AVS Music Self-test Checklists for a complete checklist of testing requirements.
