Interface IDataObjectByteViewFactory

interface IDataObjectByteViewFactory
Extends IStandard Factory interface for IDataObjectByteView. Provides zero-copy construction of IDataObjectByteView instances that borrow from caller-owned memory. Deserialization of data objects from a byte view is performed by calling IDataObjectSerializer2::readDataObject2 with the byte view’s underlying buffer. Obtain via:

Methods

makeBorrowingDataObjectByteView()

IDataObjectByteView* makeBorrowingDataObjectByteView(NativePointer bytes)
Creates an IDataObjectByteView that borrows (does not copy) the given bytes. The NativePointer wraps an ArrayView<uint8_t const> const*. The returned byte view references the same memory as the passed view; no bytes are copied. The caller MUST keep the underlying buffer alive for the lifetime of the returned IDataObjectByteView.

Parameters

bytes
NativePointer — Required NativePointer wrapping ArrayView<uint8_t const> const*

Returns

IDataObjectByteView* a non-owning IDataObjectByteView over the given bytes
