interface ITracePointBuilder

Extends com.amazon.apmf.IStandard ITracePointBuilder interface is a builder for creating a generic tracepoint calls for begin, end, and instant tracepoints. When using ITraceCategory to make a tracepoint, a name and args must be passed or a tracepoint will not be properly emitted. All other categories are optional.

Methods

name()

ITracePointBuilder* name(string name)

Sets the name of tracepoint for ITracePointBuilder that will used by ITracePoint. Once set, this cannot be changed within the object.

string — Required Name of tracepoint.

ITracePointBuilder* ITracePointBuilder with set name.

cookie()

ITracePointBuilder* cookie(i64 cookie)

Sets the thread ID of tracepoint for ITracePointBuilder that will used by ITracePoint. Once set, this cannot be changed within the object.

cookie

i64 — Required Thread id.

Returns

ITracePointBuilder* ITracePointBuilder with set cookie.
