Implement IAP Plugin for Cross-Platform Engines
Warning: Starting June 18, 2026, Amazon Appstore will no longer offer technical support and maintenance for the Adobe Air, Cordova, or Xamarin In-App Purchasing (IAP) plugins. If you currently use one of these plugins and want to continue offering in-app purchases to your customers, integrate your app with the Appstore SDK natively. To implement in-app purchasing using the IAP plugin, follow these steps:
- Read the general documentation on In-App Purchasing. See Understanding In-App Purchasing.
- Add the plugin to your project. See:
- Develop your code. Refer to IAP Plugin Methods and Events for more information about IAP plugin methods and events.
- Set up your test environment and test your app. See Testing IAP for more information.
- Add your in-app items to your app on the Amazon developer portal. See Submitting Your In-App Items for more information.
- Add your app to your Amazon developer portal account. See Publishing Android Apps to the Amazon Appstore for more information about preparing an Android app for submission.
