Interface IView10
interface IView10
Extends IView9
This interface extends IView9 with additional functionality for
blend mode compositing.
Like its predecessors, all methods of this interface must be called from the UI thread.
Methods
setBlendMode()
Sets the blend mode for compositing this view against its backdrop. The blend mode controls how this view’s rendered content (background, border, and children) is combined with content already drawn beneath it in the parent. This follows the CSS mix-blend-mode specification. The entire view is rendered into an offscreen buffer, then composited back using the specified blend mode. When an image filter is also set viavoidsetBlendMode(com.amazon.kepler.uitoolkit.graphics.BlendModemode)
IView9::setImageFilter, the same offscreen buffer carries
both — the filter is applied first, then the blend mode composites
the result onto the backdrop. Box shadows, background, border and
children are all painted inside the blend layer, so the chosen blend
mode applies to every pixel painted by this view (matching CSS
mix-blend-mode semantics). View opacity (set via the OpacityLayer
above StyleLayer in the layer hierarchy) is applied AFTER the blend
composite — it is not nested inside the blend layer. Default value
is BlendMode::SRC_OVER (normal compositing, no offscreen
buffer).
Parameters
