Guided Workflows

Guided workflows allow you to determine if the SDK features used in your app are compatible with the Amazon Appstore. It provides you guidance on what changes you should make to port your app from Google Play Store (Android) to Amazon Appstore (Fire OS).

How to use guided workflows

Choose the SDK category you want to evaluate and fill out a questionnaire about your app to help gauge the app's compatibility with Amazon. The responses you provide allow guided workflow to present possible options for your app, which might include code examples and needed configuration changes. Guided workflow classifies results as Compatible, Partially Compatible, or Currently Incompatible depending on the compatibility of the features required in your app.

The total number of questions depends on your answers as you progress through the workflow.

To get started, choose an SDK category your app uses:

• Cloud Messaging
• In-App Purchasing
• Location
