Adding TIF package dependencies

Get an application ID

Before you can publish your app, you will need to be added to the allow list and get an application ID (applicationId). This identifier will be used in the build.graddle file for your module, replacing the existing applicationId. The code will look something like this:

applicationId "com.example.android.sampletvinput"

Note: This code is just an example. Put your own allow listed applicationId here. It will be the same as your package path.

Adding TIF package dependencies

If you are using the latest Android X library in your project, add the following line to the dependencies section of your app module's build.gradle file.

implementation 'androidx.tvprovider:tvprovider:1.1.0'
