Certify Your Dash Replenishment Device
Amazon requires two separate certifications for Alexa smart home add-ons that include Dash Replenishment: certification for the smart home add-on and certification for the Dash Replenishment device. For Alexa Connect Kit (ACK) devices, Amazon requires ACK certification and Dash Replenishment certification.
Complete the following procedure to submit your device for Dash Replenishment certification. For an overview of Dash Replenishment, see About Dash Replenishment.
Prerequisites
Before you submit your device for Dash certification, complete the following prerequisites:
- Register your device in the Dash console, and then define device and slot names in each marketplace and language that you support.
- Complete testing of your Dash Replenishment device.
- Submit and receive smart home add-on certification.
Or, submit and receive ACK certification. - Rerun the tests with your production add-on or ACK product and an allow-listed test account.
Submit your device for Dash Replenishment certification
After you complete testing, you're ready to submit your device for Dash Replenishment certification. You certify your device in each marketplace separately.
To submit your device for Dash Replenishment certification in the Dash console
- Sign in to the Dash console with your Amazon developer account.
- In the device list, find the device that you want to certify, and then, to open the device details page, select the row.
- Under Marketplaces, select the marketplace where you want to certify your device.
- Open the Certify & Launch tab.
- Under Device Setup Requirements, verify that your device meets all requirements.

You receive feedback on the certification status in the Dash console. If certification fails, Amazon provides information about what went wrong and how to fix it.
Verify your device status
After Amazon certifies your device in a marketplace, the status changes to LIVE. This status means that certification is complete for the device and marketplace, and Dash Replenishment is available to customers in the marketplace.
You can find the LIVE status on the Dash console home page in the row for your device. You can also view the status on the banner on the Certify & Launch tab for each marketplace, as shown in the following image.

Obtain the Works with Alexa Badge
After you receive certification, you can apply for the Works with Alexa (WWA) badge to display on your marketing materials. The badge increases customer confidence that your product integrates with Alexa. WWA is a certification program that establishes your product's compatibility with Alexa, helping your customers have a better smart home experience. For details about the WWA program, see Works with Alexa Overview.
